Scarce Nickel-Plated Colt Second Generation Single Action Army Revolver with Stagecoach Box. 4 3/4 inch round, nickel, Single Action Army & walnut grips. Manufactured in 1972 with standard markings and features. 1 of 1,384 Second Generation Colt SAAs made in this configuration according to Don Wilkerson on page 41 of "The Post-War Colt Single Action Army Revolver 1955-1975". Includes a Colt stagecoach box. Excellent overall, retaining 98% plus original finish, minor handling evidence, and a spot of finish loss on the right side of the frame. Mechanically excellent. The box is very fine with some edge wear.
